Handcrafted Travel Spinning Rod, wood Turned Handle
This is a handcrafted, three-piece, travel, spinning rod on a Rainshadow RX6 blank (SB761-3) – 6’6”, fast action, 6-12 lbs. line, 1/8 to 3/8 oz. lures. I like the versatility of this size rod. Small enough to travel with. I turned the top and bottom handle pieces of the handle out of black and white ebony wood. I kept that black/white theme throughout the rod with black/white guide wraps. Even the rod sock is black/white. Interesting sock – it works somewhat like a finger trap. If you scrunch it, it opens wide allowing the rod to slide in and out. The case is a document case and extends fitting the rod nicely. The case seems durable is supposed to be water resistant.
